Ethyl Acetate (EA) method
This coffee is gently decaffeinated using the Ethyl Acetate (EA) method, a natural process made from sugar cane and fruit. It is carefully designed to remove only the caffeine, while keeping the flavor you love.
The green beans are lightly steamed to open their structure. Then the EA solution slowly draws out the caffeine, step by step. Once finished, the beans are steamed again to remove any traces of the solution and dried back to their original state.
The result is a smooth, balanced cup with soft sweetness and a creamy body. All the taste of great coffee, just without the caffeine.
